We start with a genuine Bosch 6v starter case and put 12v parts in it except for the bendix and shaft. The result is a starter that works with your 6v flywheel and 6v bushing.

Correctly clocked at 1:00 and 7:00 so as not to interfere with the floor pan on 356 and 356A.
